Education
Educating people about Independent Living and the news & events effecting people with disabilities is important to CRI. We want everyone to understand that people with disabilities have rights to equal and full access in our community. Etiquette
Many of us grew up in a time when we were taught to look away when we saw a person with a disability. Those days are over and, with the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act, our society is learning to welcome people with disabilities into mainstream as productive individuals.
