Receptionist/Secretary - (H301)
This position will be responsible to operate a multi-line switchboard and to provide general clerical support activities in the CRI Hermitage Office.
1. Support CRI programs in general, such as the Attendant Care and Center for Independent Living Program.
2. Operate a multi-line switchboard, handling incoming telephone calls for the CRI staff in a timely, courteous manner, take accurate phone messages if voicemail is refused.
3. Complete general secretarial duties as assigned or as needed including: photocopying of materials, faxing outgoing documents, maintaining daily schedule of office staff, light typing, and other clerical duties as assigned.
4. Process incoming and outgoing mail; track postage usage, and process the request for postage well before the time need.
5. Act as back up to the secretary.
6. Serve as a back-up for completing I & R’s.
7. Distribute and collect employment applications.
8. Schedule orientations and interviews as directed
9. Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum requirements include:
• Ability to quickly and effectively communicate with a polite, coherent, and professional voice, tone, and mannerism.
• The ability to effectively interact with CRI staff, consumers, and business associates on a professional and confidential level.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to produce under deadlines, and accuracy standards.
• Minimum of two years of multi-line telephone switchboard and receptionist experience in a professional environment and ability to use multi-line switchboard.
• Operate office equipment including copiers, personal computers, telephone, and facsimile machines, type 30 WPM minimum.
• Lift and carry office supplies up to 20 pounds.
• Act 33, 34, & Act69 criminal conviction clearances.
